![]() “Know thyself and thou shalt know all the mysteries of the gods and the Universe.” ~ Ancient Greek Temple of Apollo ~ The concept of self-love that we know today starts from conception and understanding it continues as we discover our unique journey of life. In the previous blogs, I explained self-love as a concept and how it can be further understood in relation to how universal laws operates. Learning, understanding, and putting the laws of the universe into work will help us understand how these concepts affect our lives and how we can use this knowledge and evolve our human potential as creators, co-creators of vibrational universe. This blog completes the 12 laws of the universe, along with some simple ways we can utilise each one of them: The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy Everything in the universe is energy. This energy is always moving, changing, and transmuting into and out of form— never at rest. This law states that all energy that is in motion will eventually appear in the physical form. We can apply this principle when we manifest our thoughts into what we desire. Thoughts as energy is flowing into our consciousness constantly and by understanding this law, we can transform this energy into whatever we choose to focus of attention on. The law of perpetual transmutation of energy relates to the universe and our consciousness through the realization that everything seen and unseen, life and non-life, is constantly changing. However, not all thoughts will appear in the physical realm. The universe responds to the most dominant thoughts of our minds. The law of the transmutation of thought into the physical form is strongest when our thoughts are consistent and when the most dominant thoughts are aligned with beliefs, feelings, and actions. Coaches, healers, and spiritual advisors heavily apply this principle at work. Since high vibrations can transform lower vibrations, they improve the situation by transforming lower vibrations by manifesting change. Some ways to manifest what we desire and putting the law of perpetual transmutation of energy include reflection, repeating affirmations, being grateful, keeping a journal where you can write your desires, and acting as if you already have that which you desire. ![]() The Law of Action Action is an important part not just in creation, but also in transformation. If you feel like the Law of Attraction and Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy is not working towards your desires, you may be missing an integral part of the law of the universe— the action. In order to achieve your life’s desires, everything must be in harmony with each other. The Law of action states that you must do the things and perform the actions necessary to achieve what you desire. Unless you take actions that are aligned with your thoughts, there will be no results. One of the most important laws that work with the Law of Attraction so well is the Law of Action. It is not enough to just think, believe, or know something in our mind; action is required to bring it into the physical form. Without action, our desires will remain as energy flowing in the vastness of the universe. It is the blend of action and intention that will bring these desires into existence. According to Newton’s third law: for every action (force) in nature, there is an equal and opposite reaction. In other words, if object A exerts a force on object B, then object B also exerts an equal and opposite force on object A. We can apply Newton’s third law in accordance with the law of action, both teaches us that there must be a reaction for every action, and therefore you need to take action to get results. ![]() The Law of Cause and Effect Sometimes referred to as “causation,” the law of cause and effect carries the principle that nothing in the universe happens by chance. This law is also the foundation of Buddhism which embraces the concept of karma. Karma is the concept of "action" understood as that which causes the entire cycle of cause and effect. Specifically, the law of cause and effect states that every effect has a specific and predictable cause and every cause or action has a specific and predictable effect. This suggests that the energy of the universe is always in motion and every event or situation that is happening at present is an effect from a chain of events. Any action from the past— a year ago, months, days, the passing second, becomes a cause of the events that will follow. These effects will then turn to become the causes of something else again, and the cycle goes on and on and on. With every action, thoughts, vibrations, and feelings transmitted to one energy to another create an unseen chain of events that affect the entire universe whether desirable or undesirable. By applying this law in our lives, we can realize that whatever situation we are experiencing at present moment is an effect that is a result of a specific cause. These causes are composed of the little decisions we choose and simple actions we make on our daily lives which sometimes may seem as insignificant. Nothing in the universe happens by chance, luck, or random occurrence. The law of cause and effect is always present and always at work in everyone’s lives, making cause and effects in perfect sequence. ![]() The Law of Compensation What you put time and effort into is going to result in you getting something back from the universe. This principle of the law of compensation was first suggested by Ralph Waldo Emerson, a renowned American essayist. The author further proposes that you will always be compensated for your contribution, whatever it is, however much or however little. Compensation doesn’t always have to be monetary. Most of the time it can be in the form of relationships, experiences, material things, or anything that is given us in return with the time, effort, positive intentions, deeds and actions you have put in something. In other words, what we saw is what we reap. The principle also suggests that if one would like to raise what he reaps, one needs to increase what he contributes. By applying the principle of this law to work, one should work on oneself first. In this way, one will become more inclined to see the good in oneself and others. When working with the law of compensation, we want to give what we want to receive in return. When we consciously choose the emotions and we give to others, people will return the level of high vibration in energy. However, whenever you give with the hope of getting something back creates negative energy that will reduce the value of your compensation. It is important to remember that only you can increase your compensation and it will only happen if it aligns with your thoughts, beliefs, and actions you give the universe. ![]() The Law of Correspondence Have you ever put the blame on others for something that has happened to you? Often times, we feel like we have no control over a situation so we start pointing our fingers to other rather than ourselves. The truth is we have a complete control over what is happening to us. According to the law of correspondence, our outer world is nothing more than a reflection of our inner world. Our inner thoughts, emotions, feelings, and beliefs determine our outward experience in this physical world. The energy we vibrate through our thoughts automatically projects to the outer world, which is then returned to us. This law also works well with the law of cause and effect, both suggesting that there is harmony, agreement and correspondence’ between the physical, mental and spiritual plane which suggests that what is created in one affects the other. We can apply this law by acknowledging that we are in control of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions. We can also learn to shift and balance our perception in order to balance thoughts that will reflect on our reality. The principle also suggests that everything was created the same way and each being of the universe works the same way, which only differs in degree. Our bodies are made up of the same things that compose the universe, and the universe is also created out of the things that made us. The law of correspondence makes it possible for us to understand the entirety of the universe. This principle supports the inscription of the Ancient Greek Temple of Apollo at Delphi which says, “Know thyself and thou shalt know all the mysteries of the gods and the Universe.”
